Doubly Unexpected

Nadia had just had a baby when she had a positive pregnancy test. She came in to the Caring Network clinic to confirm her pregnancy. She also had an ultrasound, which revealed that she was having twins!

With things in her relationship with her partner rocky, and having just had her baby, she was considering abortion. However, due to her faith Nadia wasn’t really comfortable with the idea of an abortion. She was undecided when she left the appointment

She stopped being responsive to our efforts to check in with her, but after several days she returned to the clinic for another ultrasound. She decided to parent her twins and wanted to receive some additional parenting support! Although she is still facing tough circumstances, she has decided to choose life and is very excited about her twin babies! 

She ended up reconciling with her partner, and the two of them are now connecting to prenatal care and feeling settled about their decision!
