Marian’s Story

When “Marian” came to Caring Network, she was struggling to accept the news that she was pregnant. Shocked and dismayed, this experience brought her to a critical point in her life. She had had a previous abortion and was still saddened by that choice, but was overwhelmed by financial and medical concerns. 

By working with her Caring Network pregnancy consultant, she became more hopeful and committed to choosing life. Through Caring Network she found insurance and a doctor, but also began to work through her previous abortion. Her consultant shared the love of Christ with Marian, which changed her life profoundly. Now Marian has a beautiful baby boy whom she welcomed with joy instead of sadness. She told her consultant, “You pointed me in all the right direction. Thank you for being there when I needed someone!”
