Destiny

Destiny came to Caring Network feeling nervous about being pregnant. Because of financial concerns and uncertainty about their careers, she and her boyfriend agreed that it would be best if she would have an abortion. But now, Destiny said the decision saddened her. The Caring Network pregnancy consultant helped Destiny understand her anxiety and she encouraged Destiny to consider alternate future outcomes — to parent or make an adoption plan. Destiny said she had never thought about those options.

She received an ultrasound, after which she said she wanted to choose life! Destiny wasn’t sure how her boyfriend would receive this news, so her consultant equipped her for a healthy, transparent conversation with him. A week later, Destiny reached out to her consultant. She was able to talk to her partner and although he was surprised, he was happy about their decision for life. Praise God for changing their hearts!
