Caring Network staff and volunteers will be conscientious regarding donor information that is collected and stored, utilizing it only for appropriate fundraising purposes within the ministry.

Unless the donor grants permission, we will NOT release their personal information to the public nor, use it for other purposes unless required to comply with the law.

We do not sell, rent, or lease our mailing list to other organizations that solicit donations or sell any products. We may participate in a data co-op for the purpose of identifying new donors who may be interested in partnering with Caring Network to help reach and serve women facing unexpected pregnancies. If we do participate in a data co-op, the data we share would be anonymized.

We will protect the privacy from anyone outside of the ministry and only share what is absolutely necessary with those inside of the ministry. Similar to how the Client Interaction Team protects the identity of their clients, Administrative staff will protect the identity of our donors.

We will secure donor information to protect donor’s privacy i.e. password protected database, lock up paper files with donor identity information. This includes letters, receipts, checks, calling lists, mail, notes, etc…

We will protect our donor’s personal information and only include necessary information in our donor database. For example, donor’s personal health information should not be recorded in our database.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Anyone helping with prospect research needs to be aware that the only purpose of prospect research is to help the ministry further relationships with our donors.

This policy applies to all information received by Caring Network, both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform”, includes the Caring Network website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.

Anyone who deals with donor information will be instructed on this policy and will sign below attesting to their agreement to adhere to this policy.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will note the last update at the top of this Privacy Policy. This policy was approved by our Board of Directors on 08/21/2024.
