How To Get Involved With Your Community

You love God.

You love people.

You love serving your community.

These are attributes of Jesus, and you were created in His image. So it makes sense that you want to learn more about how to get involved with your community.

You aren’t here by accident, so read on and learn ways you can get involved with your community here at Caring Network.

Volunteering Opportunities

Caring Network is abundantly blessed through the giving nature of our generous community. We are grateful for people like you, whose faith in action helps us save lives each day.

If you would like to get involved in your community by serving alongside us at Caring Network, we have many opportunities. We invite you to see if one of these roles fits your passion and gifting.

• Church Liaison

Caring Network provides opportunities for church communities to get involved with our mission, and we need volunteers to serve as a connection between churches and us. Please contact Tracy for more information.

• Connections & Journey

Our clients receive practical and emotional support through bringing pregnant clients together with church communities in Connections. In Journey, a woman can receive discipleship and spiritual mentorship in a one-on-one relationship.

Our Connections & Journey staff member serves as a liaison between you and/or your group and Caring Network.

You can e-mail opportunity@caringnetwork.com for more information.

• Handyperson Volunteer

Are you a person who enjoys assembling or fixing things? If so, put your valuable skill set to work and be a part of our Handyperson Volunteer team.

This is a weekday “on-call” volunteer opportunity to keep Caring Network functioning well.

• Housekeeping Volunteer

Do you have one to two hours per month available and enjoy working with a servant-minded team? If so, consider being a Housekeeping Volunteer and provide basic housekeeping/cleaning to your local Caring Network.

Our Housekeeping Volunteers are scheduled during hours when we are not serving clients.

• Office Support Volunteer

Do you have administrative gifts to share? Office Support Volunteers help with communication tasks such as preparing mailings and making phone calls.

If you have a professional, warm, and inviting disposition and want to work directly with clients, consider offering your talents as a volunteer receptionist during the week.

• Prayer Partner

Do you have the gift of intercession and are always compelled to pray for others’ needs? Then, joining our Prayer Team could be very rewarding for you.

Our Prayer Team is made up of faithful prayer warriors with humble hearts. They are also committed to protecting client confidentiality.

• Restore Group Leader

For women who struggle with post-abortion stress symptoms such as regret and shame after abortion, we offer support through Caring Network’s Restore After Abortion Program.

If you have a kind heart for women hurting after abortion, consider leading a Restore Group. You do not have to have a history of abortion, just compassion and a readiness to reveal God’s love for post-abortive women.

You can get in touch with Holly for more information about leading a Restore Group.

Serve Christ As You Serve People

Our mission at Caring Network is to serve Christ by loving women in need unconditionally and saving the lives of their children, and we are thankful you’ve joined us.
